How to use a With Wonder Box

Believe it or not, it took us two and a half years to design this box. We didn't want it to be just another box of art supplies, we wanted to create something that would genuinely spur creativity and all of the mental health and wellbeing benefits that come with that. 

These five steps stem from Asha's regular practice as an art psychotherapist and aim to promote presentness and reflection, while also increasing a sense of agency and recognition of healthy relationships.

Let's begin.

 

When you first open the box, grab the plasticine and start kneading it in your hands. Touching something physical will help ground you in this moment and allow you to feel present. 
While doing this, read through some of the activities we've provided and decide what you want to make. It's your choice.

Get creating! Being creative makes you feel good because it helps your brain to release serotonin which improves your mood and reduces feelings of depression and anxiety. 

Take a minute to think about how you're feeling right now. Jot a few words in the notebook we've provided. Do this again once you've made something. You should notice a difference.
You might want to share what you make today. But don't put it on the socials, share it with someone whose opinion you trust. If you're not ready for that, pop it back in the box and close the lid. It'll be there to come back to when you're ready.
