With Wonder is created by the team at Breathing Space - a registered charity providing art psychotherapy to young people in Auckland, New Zealand.
Our goal is to encourage all people to regularly engage in art and creativity to improve our overall mental health.

More creative. Less prescriptive.
Our art boxes promote mental wellbeing through a self-directed therapeutic experience, and are based on our real-world practice as art therapists and psychotherapists. We collaborate with artists to ensure the activities in each box allow you to make something unique and personal to you.
We do this by encouraging you to be emotionally curious, reflecting on different ideas and exploring the world around you.
What we use in these boxes is informed by a range of therapeutic models. The integrated approach is our own, based on our own experience, specialised training and research.
Don't over think it.
This box is not intended to solve all your challenges, but rather to provide a space for reflection and exploration. This process in no way replaces or is a substitute for one-to-one or group live therapy, which we know many people do need. If you feel that you need one-to-one support or are in crisis please prioritise getting help from your doctor or mental health professional.

OUR FOUNDING STORY
Asha Munn is a registered art psychotherapist, EMDR therapist, a graduate of Elam School of Fine Arts and Founder of Breathing Space and With Wonder. She works with agencies like Oranga Tamariki, Youth Aid, and Te Whatu Ora, focusing on supporting vulnerable young people in Aotearoa.
Asha set up Breathing Space back in 2016 as a safe space for young people to explore their mental wellbeing through art and creativity. But when the covid lockdowns hit, demand for her services surged beyond anything she and her team could see to. As essential workers, they adapted by delivering care packages with art materials and offering online sessions. This experience inspired the creation of With Wonder, providing a practical way to support mental health through art and creativity.
